Responsibilities:

• Ensure the optimum output of technical equipment such as machines, devices and tools from automatic assembly machines and manual workstations
• Set up, adjust and approve production equipment according to work instructions / specifications and documents (drawings/work schedule) and instruct the respective employees
• Correct malfunctions of production equipment and carry out optimizations
• Operate manual workstations and/or automatic assembly machines
• Manufacture, test, document and approve the manufacturing/production of the first piece
• Perform maintenance and cleaning work according to schedules and monitor maintenance intervals; carry out minor repair work and preventive replacement of wearing parts within the specified schedule

Qualifications:

• Education in the area of metalwork, for example industrial mechanic, locksmiths or comparable
• Self-starter with a structured approach to work
• Professional experience in a metal-working installation company is an advantage
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends
• High degree of responsibility and commitment
• Good English language skills, ideally German language skills as well
• Ability to work as part of a team, deadline and quality awareness
• Willingness to travel
